Designer Eco Chair

The distinctive tub seat of Chairman modern chair is made in felt, a compressed form of woollen fleece. The felt tub seat is not only tactile but also provides a pleasant seating experience for the user. Chairman contemporary tub chair legs are made in steel or oak which are both recyclable too.

Chairman contemporary tub chair is a perfect dining chair, office chair or conference chair. This designer eco chair can be used in conjunction with a range of Conmoto’s modern furniture tables including Pad table and Tension table, both of which are available in a wide range of finishes.

Chairman’s Designer

As a designer, Werner Aisslinger is particularly interested in the use of the latest technologies and unusual materials, which he uses in his product designs. His gel furniture range was the first of its kind. Aisslinger’s “Juli Chair”, the first ever piece of furniture to be made of polyurethane integral foam, was the first German chair to be selected for the permanent collection at the MoMA inNew York since 1964. He has received many design prizes for his developments, including the Compasso d‘Oro and the Red Dot Award, the German Design Award and the FX Award in Great Britain. His furniture is on show in many museums, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Fonds National d‘Art Contemporain in Paris, the Neue Sammlung in Munich and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany.

Conmoto Modern Furniture Company

Conmoto modern furniture company was set up NW Germany in the late 1990s by owner Johannes Wagner. The company initially specialised in modern garden furniture and modern fireside accessories. Conmoto’s portfolio of modern furniture and accessories has since grown to include unique ranges of modern interior furniture and accessories, such as Chairman modern eco chair and Pad modern table.
